Beaches Jazz Festival July 28th
Sunday July 28th, from 12:30 - 3:00 pm, Swing Shift Big Band will be taking over the Beaches Jazz Festival main stage in Woodbine Park with "Sinatra and Bublé Together Again" show featuring the vocals of Dan Lauzon (Frank Sinatra tribute artist) and Dave Statham. This is a free show, bring your lawn chairs and sunblock to enjoy the timeless music of Sinatra and Bublé.

Sunday, July 28, we'll be returning to the stage at Mel Lastman Square to revive Sunday Serenades after a long break. The show starts at 7 pm and goes to 8:30, no admission charge and there is plenty of room to dance in front of the band. Dave Statham and Larisa Renee will be singing the best in big band jazz and standards, we hope you can join us.

This 6-track EP-CD relies heavily on the arranging skills of Brent Turner, whose charts are tailored to the band’s strengths: clean section work and impressive vocals by Larisa and Dave. Musical Director saxophonist Jeff Pighin ensures that the band’s tonal palette is tuned up to its optimum level. And Celebrations! also introduces a new and sensuous dimension to the Swing Shift sound – strings … an exciting first for the band!
